Surfaces must be sound, intact, clean, free from loose materials, oil, grease, laitance, dirt,
curing compound, etc.
SURFACE
PREPARATION:
Before product application, all surfaces (except gypsum board) must be cleaned with water,
and the surface should appear wet and damp but without any water pooling.
APPLICATION
METHOD:
• In a clean container, add 5.5 – 7 liters of water for 20Kg bag and 6.5 – 8.5 Litres for 25kg
bag of Ceramic Tile Fix, If required, add 0.5 Ltr of Sico-bond with water.
• Add the powder to the water gradually and mix for 3-4 minutes using a low-speed
electric drill paddle until its uniform, lump-free.
• Allow the mixture to stand for about 2-3 minutes and remix it again before applying.
• Use the mixed material within 2 hours, but don’t add water once it starts to harden.
Product Mixing:
1. By notched trowel Spread & press, the mortar firmly on the tiles applied surface.
2. Spread the mortar on an area that will be tiled within 10-15 minutes.
3. Press the tiles firmly over the mortar and knock them into the desired position.
4. Adjust the tiles position, if required, within a time of 10-15 minutes after installation.
5. Allow the installed tiles to remain undisturbed for at least 48 hours.
6. After 48 hours of tile installation, apply Sico Tiles Grout to fill the joint & gaps.
